I am SO proud of you!

#60 LO for the year!

I have been doing this now for two months and it has been great.  I might really run out of pictures before the end of the year.  Not for awhile yet though. My suggestion to all is to mark pictures with dates and notes because it is so hard going back 20-30 years and remembering what the date was or who some of the people were.  I love digital pictures where you can see if you got the shot before you develop the pictures. Thank you whoever invented that!!!!

#53 LO for the year!

The bear is fromPaper Piecings by Nicki, the rest of the cuts are from different Cricut cartridges. Paper is from Fancy Pants Designs Holly Jolly.

#52 LO for the year!

The cuts are from Nifty Fifties except for the clouds and they are an SVG cut I had laying around. I still haven't bought anything except ATG tape, some glue, a few sets of stamps off the clarence rack and paper I got when Michael's  had the coupon where you spent $5.01 and you could get $5.00 off.    ( I bought the paper that was on sell 5 for a dollar and got 26 sheets. That way I only spent .20).  I have won some wonderful prizes from a few hops I have been on and I appreciate those surprises. I am going on a crop this Sunday and hope to get a few LO's done there but looking forward to seeing my crafty friends and talking with them.  I tend to talk more than I work.

#50 and #51 LO for the year!

Well I am caught up, finally!  These two pages are again similar because the pictures were the same.  I used Basic Grey patterned paper and the solid paper is DCWV paper.  The title on the second picture was from Designer Calendar and the other title was Cursive 101 welded together.  The hat is from Everyday Paper Dolls.

If you are checking out my pictures you might figure out my family keeps changing.  Some kids stay the same but others are always different.  We did foster care for 15 years so that makes for a lot of different families.  I loved all my children and they are still my family even though they are somewhere else now.

#49 LO for the year!!

The paper is from American Crafts "play Capture the Flag"  The title, bone border and little dog are all from Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge.

#47 and #48 LO for the year!

These two are almost just alike but when you are scrapping for 4 children and 3 Grandchildren it is sometimes quicker to just make two. The title and the bunny are from the Easter Cricut Cartridge.

#46 LO for the year!

Well, I am not caught up yet but getting closer, only 3 behind right now.  It is harder scrapping the older pictures because I have to look up dates and such but I am keeping going.  I will catch up. I will catch up!

#44 LO for the year!

I have been going through old photos and trying to get some LO's ready for this next scrap weekend.  I thought I better atleast keep up and not get anymore behind that I am already so I did this LO.

My first attempt at these fairies!

I won a wonderful gift from Little Scraps of Heaven and here is my first attempt at these paper piecings.  she is suppose to be flying but I didn't get her legs right but I think she is pretty darn cute.

#43 LO for the year!

Same sketch as last one just different papers and interpretation of it. I used one colored picture and the gold to have some pop here and there.

#42 LO for the year!

I used vinyl for the lettering on this one.  It took awhile but I am happy with the results.  Not as straight as I would like but it is handmade by Mom.

Let's hear it for #40! Can't believe I made it this far!

OK this picture just said "Cheese" all over it so I used that for my title.  Carts used were Pack Your Bags (camera), Create A Critter (title and mouse) Mickey and Friends and Wall Decor and More (welded these two film strips together). Background paper is the Paper Studio and the rest assorted scraps.

#39 LO for the year!

The paper is from The Paper Studio.  I used several different cart to make the 5 and I used Stickles to outline each.  The frame I had cut awhile ago to use on another project but didn't use it so it found a home on this page.

Checkbook gifts

My sister-in-law introduced me to this method.  You glue the edge of the new dollar bills together with Padding Compound which is a book binding glue.  The glue is rubbery and the bills come off like they are a pad of paper.  A fun way to give money for any holiday.

#36 LO for the year!

Never though I would get this many LOs finished but I am doing pretty well so far.  Just need to keep of the steam.  Here is a LO I am doing for a challenge.  This is the sketch I needed to use.
This is my take on it.  How did I do?

I put foam dots and strips under the sun and clothes to raise them up.  The paper is DCWV All About Girls and Mango Frost.  The Images are all cut on the Cricut from Kate's ABC's, Everyday Paper Dolls, and Paper Doll Dress-UP.  The Fonts I used were Street Sign, Billionaire, and A Child's Year.  The face on the sun I drew and colored in with some chalk, a black marker, and a Signo white pen.  If you could tell me what you like and don't like about this LO so I can fix it before sending it into the DCWV challenge.  Thank you!
